Dianna Rose is the founder of Sound Guidance™. A trained musician (percussion, piano, voice), she also is a certified Sound Therapy Practitioner, having received her training at the Open Ear Center on Bainbridge Island, Washington, founded by Pat Moffitt Cook, PhD. She's an Acutonics™
Practitioner, completed her training from the Strong Institute™
in Rhythmic Entrainment, and received her certificate in spiritual hypnotherapy, under the tutelage of Sufi Imam Jamal Rahman. Plus she has a Masters of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Southern California.
Dianna was raised in a holistic medical family. Her father was a physician who incorporated medical treatments from the Edgar Cayce Readings. She grew up attending holistic medical conferences with her family, being exposed to and meeting such people as Elizabeth Kubler Ross, Stephen Halpern, and Dr. Gladys T. McGarey.
Dianna's love of music also includes a 25+ year on-air career in radio, in the Seattle and Los Angeles markets, in formats including Smooth Jazz (where she was also a Music Director for 12 years), Adult Contemporary, Urban Contemporary and Country.
Dianna is a regular singer at Bet Alef Meditative Synagogue in Bellevue, and occassionally supports, through her therapeutic sound training, mystical Nishmat Shabbat services in Seattle.
